IN THE ARENA MINISTRIES

Our nonprofit’s primary purpose is to empower and equip individuals and families, regardless of social economic barriers, to attain physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wholeness as they pursue their passions.

Pay it forward.

If you have been blessed by In the Arena Coaching or Ministry and want to help someone else receive the same help, we have created a spot for you to pay it forward financially. If you give toward our non-profit, it will be used to bless other individuals and families like yours who cannot currently afford the same coaching.

  • We love teens and believe in supporting them! As a part of our ministry, we have created a tax-deductible area to give and support young people in pursuing their passions like sports, music, and other extracurricular passions. Families of low income can apply for their needs and finances will be given to support needs like gear, instruments, registrations fees, and much more. If you have a heart to help a young person pursue their dreams, maybe even achieve a scholarship or future job, you can give using the button to the right and we will help make it happen.

  • If you are a low income family or individual looking for coaching support or financial assistance with your youngster's passions, this is the place for you! Click the button on the right to apply!

  • “I absolutely love Brett and Shailey, and I trust them more than anyone I know. I can genuinely say that during my time under their leadership in youth group and later as a youth leader, I grew more quickly in the Lord than at any other time in my life. Brett and Shailey are incredibly kind, vulnerable, and listen with understanding in every conversation. They handle confrontation and conflict with complete grace and love, and I have never had to guess what they were thinking because they share their thoughts and emotions very honestly. Brett and Shailey model intentionality in every area of their lives, and consistently build deeper relationships with those around them than I thought was possible. With them, no question is too scary, and no emotion is invalid; they know that doing life is messy. If you are looking for any of these things or want to see someone who models Jesus really well, listen to them.”

  • “Brett and Shailey are people who are genuinely for you! After living with their family of 6 in their home for 8 months I witnessed firsthand that they are the same whether they’re in the role of pastor, leader, friend, or parent. They are people of integrity, honesty, and tenderness to Holy Spirit. And they show up with a whole lot of heart, laughter, and joy. The Ratliff’s are definitely the kind of people you want on your team.”

  • “Brett and Shailey are some of the most profound people I know and so much of how I view people and leadership has changed because of them! They walk in a gift of understanding what it looks like to build a healthy culture for teams and community. They also have a gift of bringing clarity in challenging situations and how to communicate truth with grace. There’s so much I’ve learned just by watching them lead, but I’ve also experienced personal breakthroughs through processing with them and they are some of the first people I think about when I try to imagine how to navigate different situations and relationships. Huge fan of theirs!”

  • “While planning for a wedding my fiancé and I realized that we needed someone to officiate the wedding. At the time we were not affiliated with a church, and we both were having a hard time with the idea of having a stranger be a part of our most important day. I had been friends with Brett and Shailey for several years prior before they became involved in youth ministry. I took a shot and asked if they would officiate our wedding, which they did! Having them both be a part of our day made it so much more special. The greatest value they provided to us was the premarital counseling. Brett and Shailey Ratliff are a battle-tested, strong, and loving couple that have tremendous life experience that is relatable to any couples seeking guidance.”
